Taita-Taveta is one of Kenya’s 47 counties. County is located in the southern part of the country. It is situated about 150 km northwest of Mombasa and 300 km southeast of Nairobi. The capital is nominally in the town of Mwatate, but the district government offices are located in Wundanyi. County has an area of 17,083 square kilometers.
