Event Overview
The World Market Initiative (WMI) is a retail initiative extended to participating countries by the EXPO 2020 Dubai focused on promoting ethical consumerism, allowing Expo 2020 visitors to purchase products that are unique, culturally significant, of high quality and ethically produced. The WMI is an Opportunity for Kenya to showcase and sell its authentic and iconic products during the 6-month Expo period. The Objective is to create a powerful connection with visitors through the range of products offered for sale. The opportunity will provide visitors with a tangible object to take home as a ‘connection’ with Kenya pavilion, a memory of their experience, or a gift to share passing on the core messages of the pavilion to a much wider audience. The WMI is a great opportunity for Kenya to showcase her talents, culture and resources on a global platform and increase engagement with visitors. It will also allow Kenya to highlight its innovativeness and design capabilities.
