Kenya is expected to get a boost from the on-going negotiations with the US known as the Strategic Trade and Investment partnership. It is the first-of-its-kind bilateral trade agreement between the United States and a sub-Saharan African country and aims to increase investment, promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth, benefit workers, consumers, and businesses, and support African regional economic integration.
This makes the upcoming 4thregional AmCham Business Summit a terrific opportunity for strengthening bilateral trade and investment between the U.S. and the region.
