The Kenya meat expo 2023 will take place from 3rd – 5th May 2023 at Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi under the theme, “Promoting resilience in the meat industry through investment and innovation for job creation and economic growth.”

This year’s edition offers a learning and networking experience of its kind among stakeholders in the livestock sector. It is geared towards providing ample opportunities for exhibitors to showcase the latest in the meat industry, including the products, services and technologies retailers need to grow their businesses.

The participants will gain tools, insights, inspiration, and new ideas to differentiate unique products and services, reinforce marketing return-on-investment, increase sales, and build customer loyalty.

The expo will bring positive changes in the sector through better industry coordination, creation of jobs, wealth creation, consumer awareness and increase in profitability as well as ensuring a larger contribution of the sector to Kenya’s GDP.

The expo seeks to create an opportunity for Kenya to grow its exports to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain which currently has a market share of 75% of the entire meat and Meat products to the world which stands at USD 65.4 million. The market for Ghee, butter, skim and whole milk powder and milk powder is also huge in the region

The global meat export industry is highly competitive, and to remain competitive, it is important for Kenyan exporters to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to ensure that their products are safe and of high quality. Exporters must also ensure that they are familiar with the regulations governing the export of meat and that they adhere to them. By doing so, they can ensure that they remain competitive in the global market.
