In a transformative move for Kenya’s export sector, the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA) has signed a partnership with DHL Group to enhance market access for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This collaboration is poised to unlock new global opportunities for Kenyan businesses by combining KEPROBA’s export development expertise with DHL’s world-class logistics infrastructure.

By leveraging DHL’s extensive global network and KEPROBA’s mandate to promote Kenyan exports, the initiative will provide SMEs with:

  • Necessary skills to help scale their businesses.
  • Streamlined logistics and shipping solutions
  • Training in export readiness, market access strategies and compliance requirements.

  • Access to DHL’s GoGreen tools for sustainable logistics
  • Capacity building programs and sustainable financial options.

SMEs contribute more than 60% of employment and up to 40% of GDP in many African countries. “SMESs not only spur the local economic growth but also drive innovation and job creation.

KEPROBA continues champion Kenya’s brand globally, ensuring that products labeled “Made in Kenya” meet international standards and appeal to diverse markets. This partnership will further strengthen KEPROBA’s efforts to position Kenya as a reliable source of high-quality goods.

With this alliance, Kenyan SMEs can expect a more supportive ecosystem for export growth.
