The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA) on Wednesday 28th September 2022 visited Plant Engineering Services (PLENSER LIMITED), a high-level manufacturing company located at Saku Business Park, North Airport Road, in Embakasi, Nairobi.
Plenser Limited was established in 1997 as a partnership prior to becoming a private limited company in 2001, focusing on the manufacturing of industrial boilers. In 2019, Plenser Limited started the manufacturing of incinerators and has now been certified by the Kenya Bureau of Standards to manufacture boilers.
The company uses locally sourced materials hence cutting on the cost of production by almost 60% according to Moses Kamau, the Plenser Limited Chief Executive Officer. These locally-manufactured incinerators are of high quality on the market compared to imported incinerators from India, China and Europe according to the company’s CEO.
The company produces 10 high quality incinerators monthly and is servicing the local and regional markets in East Africa. As of 2022, Plenser limited had exported incinerators to Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Somalia and Ethiopia.
Through collaboration and partnerships with Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency, Plenser Limited aims at penetrating the African Market and global market because its boilers and incinerators are competitive and meet the required international standards.
Plenser Limited CEO Moses Kamau thanked KEPROBA for the role it plays in developing upcoming enterprises citing that Plenser is a beneficiary of KEPROBA’s support and guidance.
The KEPROBA team was comprised of Trade Advisory Manager Charles Tumbo, Product Market Development Managers David Yamina and Rebecca Mpaayei, Principal Officer Samuel Mwathi from Product Market Development, Jonah Karanja and Albert Omanga from Nation Brand and Marketing.
