Uganda International Trade Fair

We invite Kenyan manufacturers, exporters and business associations to participate in the 32nd Uganda International Trade Fair (UGITF) 2026, scheduled to take place from 2–11 October 2026 at the UMA Show Grounds, Lugogo, Kampala, Uganda. The fair will run daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM under the theme, “Formalising Trade to Secure Uganda’s Economic Future.”

Organised by the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA), the Uganda International Trade Fair has grown over the years into one of East Africa’s leading platforms for industry, trade and investment. The 2026 edition is expected to attract more than 1,000 exhibitors and approximately 150,000 visitors from Uganda, the East African Community and other international markets, creating a strong platform for regional market access, trade promotion, investment matchmaking and business networking.

Interested and suitable Kenyan manufacturers, exporters and business associations are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Participation will enable Kenyan businesses to showcase their products, services, technologies and innovations while engaging directly with potential buyers, distributors, manufacturers, investors and consumers from across the region.

UGITF provides an important forum for promoting regional trade, investment, and industrial cooperation. Exhibitors will have opportunities to participate in business-to-business and business-to-government engagements, explore new commercial partnerships, identify investment opportunities and strengthen their presence in the wider East African market.

The fair is multi-sectoral and is open to Kenyan businesses operating in a wide range of industries. These include agriculture, food and beverages, textiles, manufacturing equipment, building materials, automobiles, electrical products, chemicals and cosmetics, timber and furniture, trade services, engineering products, machinery, ICT, gift articles and handicrafts, among others.

Participation attracts a registration fee of USD 20. Exhibition space within the UMA Exhibition Hall is available from USD 1,000 for a minimum of 9 square metres, excluding VAT. The shell scheme includes two chairs, one table, one spotlight and one socket outlet, with additional space available in multiples of 9 square metres. Outdoor bare-ground space is available at USD 1,500 per 30 square metres, while a 150-square-metre open area for entertainment, bars or promotional activities is available at USD 2,500.

Registration entitles each participating company to three exhibitor cards and one parking sticker, while additional exhibitor cards are available at USD 15 each. Exhibitors are expected to provide their own electrical accessories, including bulbs, flexible cables, and sockets. Exhibition space is allocated only upon submission of proof of full payment. General visitor entry to the fair is UGX 10,000 per day.

How to Apply

Interested Kenyan manufacturers, exporters, and business associations are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. Completed exhibitor application and registration forms, together with proof of payment, should be submitted directly to the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA).
