The AMARE Fashion Week is an annual event that takes place in the city of Goiania, State of Goais, Brazil, and is popularly referred to as the “Fashion Hub of Brazil.” This year's edition is scheduled to take place from 29th August to 2nd September 2023, at the Oscar Niemeyer Cultural Centre in Goiania. The event will focus on textile, apparel, leather/leather products, handicrafts, jewelry, art, and the creative industries.
Organized by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Services (SEBRAE) and the Government of Goais State, this 5-day event brings together international and Brazilian fashion brands, stylists, designers, and entrepreneurs from across the fashion industry. They gather to network and participate in over 50 fashion parades, business circles, lectures, and exhibitions of artistic creations.
The theme of the 2023 edition aims to present the findings of a study on the feasibility of the fashion industry's solid waste, the impact of large-scale production, and the addressing of sustainability. Additionally, it focuses on the inclusivity of socially vulnerable groups, such as women.
