Ilchamus

• They are the smallest ethnic group in Kenya settled near the Kokwa island in Lake Baringo
• Materials such as beadwork (necklaces, bracelets, headgears, and beaded cloths), woodcarving (clubs/rungu, bows and traditional stool) and blacksmith works (spears, swords and arrows) are popularly made among the illchamus
• They share many practical cultural practices as the other Maa Speakers (Samburu, Maasai)

Luhya

• The Luhya comprise several subgroups with different but mutually understood linguistic dialects. Some of these subgroups are Ababukusu, Abanyala, Abatachoni, Avalogoli, Abamarama, Abaidakho, Abaisukha, Abatiriki, Abakisa, Abamarachi, and Abasamia.
• The Luhya people revers some of their ritualistic practices most especially their initiation ceremonies (the Bukusu) and burial rites.
• Traditional clothing is worn mostly during specific occasions and only by certain people. In cultural dances, performers may put on feathered hats and skirts made of sisal strands.
• Luhya are nationally renowned for their energetic and vibrant isukuti dance accompanied by music instruments such as drums, jingles, flutes, and accordions

Taveta

Tavetas are popularly known as agriculturists and for their skills as smithies and craftsmen

Orma

• cattle keeping is a central aspect of the life of the Orma people. All of life focuses on the welfare of the cattle.Their distinct breed of the white, long-horned zebu cattle are among the finest in Africa.
• The Orma are 99.9% Muslim.  They converted to Islam starting three or four generations ago.  They observe all the rites and festivals of Islam
• Special ceremonies surround the birth of children which starts with dedication of the child up to seven years of age
• Their wedding rituals are rich in Orma culture
